Usage method 

Wound preparation:

The wound is debrideed as needed and the wound is rinsed according to standard operating procedures. Remove excess debridement fluid around the wound.

Choice of dressing

Choose a hydrophilic fiber dressing of the right size that is slightly larger than the size of the wound.

Application method of general hydrophilic fiber dressing

1. Cut (using sterilized or sterile scissors) or fold the dressing to fit the size of the wound.

2. Use non-closed or semi-closed outer dressing, such as polyurethane transparent dressing for binding.

Method of using self-adhesive hydrophilic fiber dressing

1. Depending on the size of the wound, choose a dressing slightly larger than the size of the wound.

2. Remove the release paper on one side of the bottom layer, and cover the hydrophilic fiber non-woven dressing on the wound to ensure that it can completely cover the wound. Gently press the mucous membrane to make it stick to the outer edge of the wound, so that it can be affixed to the wound. Keep your hands away from the adhesive parts of the product.

3. Finally remove the protective film on one side of the surface layer.

Dressing removal and replacement

1. When the absorptive wound exudate of the non-woven dressing is saturated, the dressing should be replaced, or replaced according to the requirements of the nursing code.

2. When changing, gently remove the outer dressing. If the wound shows signs of dryness, the non-woven dressing should be fully moistened with sterile saline before removal.

3. Gently remove the dressing from the wound and discard it.

4. Rinse the wound with a suitable wound cleaner before applying the new dressing.
